ACTIVATING TECNO MOBILE'S GLOBAL SPONSORSHIP OF MANCHESTER CITY WITH AN ALWAYS-ON SOCIAL APPROACH
THE CHALLENGE
Realm Architect is a brand-new Virtual Tabletop solution for Role Playing Games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and more. The platform completely changes and revolutionises the game for Dungeon Masters by allowing more focus on world-building and storytelling rather than laborious admin and planning. With such a strong USP, Realm Architect turned to AND THE NEW to help launch their product to the world and target their niche audience with content at every level of the marketing funnel.
THE STRATEGY
The entire strategy was built around one specific period: the launch of the product hosted on Kickstarter. To best launch this product to market, we implemented our trusted three-step process: Inspire, Engage, Convert.
We knew that to excite current and would-be Dungeon Masters we had to excite them and inspire them to look at a new option. This approach was built around their pain points and offering a new solution. To engage this audience and increase consideration we had to both entertain them and show detail as to how the product works. And finally, to convert, we knew we needed to create a series of social media paid ad content to drive sign-ups.
To do this, we worked with two of the biggest influencers and content creators in the Dungeons and Dragons space – Becca Scott and Jeff Cannata.
Across everything, we developed the launch video for Realm Architect as well as created a series of short-form and long-form videos of the product in use. With the product’s first UI being set in a medieval fantasy design, we took the opportunity to do the coolest thing possible for the gamers among us – play D&D in a castle!
THE RESULTS
Realm Architect had one clear goal - to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise additional pre-seed investment to further develop their product and build a strong, growing community of backers from the very beginning. From informational and educational videos through to live play-throughs, big influencers in the Dungeons & Dragons scene, and content clearly outlining the vision, we helped take this Kickstarter marketing campaign to the moon and exceeded investment targets by a whopping 643%
