LAUNCHING A FITNESS VR GAME ON META STORE
Producing a launch trailer for Quell's Shardfall VR game, exclusively available for the Meta Quest.


THE BRIEF
With the launch of Shardfall on the Meta Store, fitness gaming pioneers Quell approached AND THE NEW to create a dynamic and motivational trailer that would help drive excitement and awareness for the release – even while the game itself was still in development.
To bring the game’s unique blend of immersive gameplay and real-world physical movement to life, we built a compelling narrative around two characters on their fitness journeys. Shot in a large rented house to give us multiple lifestyle environments, we cast two actors and voiced a clear rallying call: “It’s time to get up, gear up, and start moving.”
Working with a full crew of ten including director, DOP, three camera ops, and hair and makeup, we carefully choreographed each scene to convey both the intensity and accessibility of the Shardfall experience. With the game in ongoing production, our post team stayed agile, building flexibility into the edit suite to accommodate rolling updates to gameplay footage throughout the process.
