CONTENT-FIRST SPONSORSHIP ACTIVATION
Producing a highly-engaging sponsorship activation campaign for Marriott Bonvoy and their Manchester United partnership.




THE BRIEF
With their global partnership of Manchester United, Marriott Bonvoy turned to AND THE NEW to produce a highly engaging and charming campaign that could be used across multiple European-wide distribution channels including in-hotel and paid media.
To bring this to life, we welcomed a handful of young Manchester United supporters to Old Trafford who each had the chance to grill their idols and find out what the players get up to in their time off and for their vacations.
Bringing as much engagement as possible to the activation, we knew we needed something memorable. To achieve this, each of the players, challenged by the children, had to draw their favourite holiday destination during the interview – leading to some hilariously funny situations and moments.


We focused heavily on ensuring the content shoot could be translated into multiple assets utilised across many campaigns and usages. From long-form edits to teaser edits, YouTube pre-rolls, and in-hotel branding.
